Catalogue Note

The first 'Chaîne d'ancre' was conceived in 1938, when Robert Dumas, a member of the Hermès family, decided to take inspiration from a ship anchor chain to design a bracelet. The present lot of a later version bears the maker's marks from the famous George L'Enfant, and is a true piece of design history. A perfect fit for both formal, business or casual wear.
