Catalogue Note

The reference 570 is the first large Calatrava model produced in series. While the proportions and the shape are the same as the famed reference 96, it has a much larger diameter of 35 mm as opposed to the 30.5 mm, making it a large watch at the time and wearable still today. Overall the production ran from 1938 all the way up until 1972, and can be divided in three series. The present example is equipped with the calibre 12-400 and belongs to the 2nd series.
