Catalogue Note

It is safe to say that this watch embodies a certain 1920s charm. The size and shape of the case represents a fashion that has to a major extent been lost. The skill and care with which a watch like this would have been produced, however, is something that deserves appreciation. The signature, outer track and large Arabic numerals to the dial are all hand engraved and enameled.  The case back is engraved to the outside with the case number, still visible despite its age. Within, the moustached lever escapement and wolf tooth wheels all set this watch firmly at the beginning of the 20th Century.
