Catalogue Note

With the introduction of the Heuer Autavia in 1962, it would be another 7 years before the Autavia GMT would be released to the market.  The Autavia was the first chronograph watch produced by the manufacture to carry a specific model name, and the first to have a rotating bezel.  This particular watch utilises the second generation compressor case, and second execution dial with larger subsidiaries and thicker, serif signature. Overall the watch is presented in excellent condition with thick lugs and sharp bevels to the case.  Further to this it comes complete with its original box and leaflet.
