Description

  • Diameter 6 5/8  in., 17.1 cm
the gently flaring sides resting on a short straight foot and rising to a slightly everted rim, with two molded filets encirling the exterior, covered overall in a lustrous silvery-russet glaze, the recessed base glazed white and inscribed with a six-character seal mark in underglaze blue

Condition

An approx. 4.2-cm section of the foot has been in-painted and sprayed (likely concealing fritting), and there is a lightly sprayed area at one side of the exterior, and minute frits to the rim. The interior has minor wear and minor firing imperfections.
