  • Diameter 7 in., 17.8 cm
the shallow, rounded sides set over a slightly tapered foot and rising to an everted rim, the interior centered with a green-enameled five-clawed dragon writhing in pursuit of a 'flaming pearls', all encircled by a green-enameled band at the cavetto and another at the rim, the motif repeated at the exterior with two dragons striding over a ground of incised waves, the base with a six-character mark in underglaze blue within a double circle

Condition

The dragon dish is a bit overfired at the rim resulting in some discoloration and burst glaze bubbles. There is also a burst, darker toned, glaze bubble at the base. There is wear overall and minor imperfections consistent with age and type.
