Description

  • Height 20 1/8  in., 51 cm
powerfully modeled standing on a rectangular base with a raised foreleg, the head turning slightly to the proper left, alert with ears pricked, eyes wide and the mouth open revealing the teeth, covered in a straw glaze with generous splashes of amber and chestnut

Condition

The horse with typical restoration to extremities; including all four legs, plinth, and ears. There has been some consolidation restoration to scattered areas of glaze loss. There is expected wear to the surface overall.
