Description

  • Diameter 6 3/4  in., 17.1 cm
the deep sides set over a straight foot and rising conically to an everted rim, covered in an ivory-colored glaze suffused with swirling veins of milky taupe tones, the variegation effectively simulating that of marble, the glaze stopping unevenly above the foot exposing the grayish-white body

Condition

The bowl with extensive wear, glaze erosion to a soft finish, and crazing that is russet-colored. The rim with scattered frits and small chips. The interior with three of the five spur marks gapped and discolored.
