Description

  • Height 4 1/2  in., 11.5 cm
the compressed globular body rising from three cabriole legs to a short waisted neck and everted rim, flanked by a pair of curved upright handles each detailed with grooved sides and pierced with rectangular apertures, the domed cover surmounted by flared petals forming the finial, the lustrous polished stone of a variegated yellow-green color with occasional russet patches (2)

Condition

The censer and cover are in overall good condition with only very small chips to the rims and handles (as expected), and very light wear to the interior from use. The color of the stone is consistent with that in the illustration in the printed catalog.
