Description

  • 21.7 cm, 8 5/8  in.
with shallow rounded sides rising to a flat, everted rim with raised outer edge, covered overall with an unctuous glaze of even sea-green tone, the unglazed foot rim burnt orange in the firing.

Condition

This dish is in overall good condition, apart some from minor firing imperfections, including glaze crackles throughout, a burst bubble to the base and slightly warped shape. There are also some shallow chips to the foot and very light surface wear. The actual colour is of a slightly more bluish celadon colour that the catalogue illustration.
