  • Diam. 30.6 cm, 12 in.
with steep gently rounded sides rising to a lipped rim, painted around the exterior with two scenes of scholars and their attendants in a rocky garden setting, divided by stylised characters, the base unglazed

Condition

Overall wear to the glaze and enamels on the exterior, fritting to the rim (largest a ca. 16 cm area of loss to the glaze on the inside rim), firing imperfections to the inside and rim of the vessel.
