Description

  • 17 cm, 6 3/4  in.
cast seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus base, his hands in dharmachakramudra, crowned with a peaked hat and dressed in elaborately incised robes with copper inlaid, his shoulders flanked with flowers and attributes, his face with a serene expression with downcast eyes

Condition

There is a small patching to the back of the head (approx. 1.2 x 1 cm), and further smaller batches to the lotus base (the largest approx. 0.6 x 0.2 cm). There are also some general surface wear and rubbing throughout, as well as some losses to the gilt and inlay, and some short cracks to various areas, including to the figure's right shoulder where the attributes join the body. The base is open.
