Condition

Oil on canvas, lined. The surface is in generally good condition aside from a stable network of craquelure visible on the picture surface, especially in the sky at left. There are small areas of puckering at upper center. Under UV, there are scattered older retouches throughout the sails. There are additional scattered retouches in the sky, mainly around the aforementioned areas of craquelure. Overall the picture presents well in its current framing and is ready to hang.
