Echézeaux 1999 Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Côte de Nuits, Grand CruCase banded prior to inspection31hl/hectare were produced this year. Incredible scented nose. Heather and violets. Gloriously 'meaty' taste. Smoky too. Such a fine texture and quite different from Faiveley's Echézeaux of the same year, which is less open. Mineral finish.
