Description
Château Haut Brion 1928 Pessac-Léognan (Graves), 1er Cru Classéu. vts, label bin soiled though excellent for age, short château embossed metal capsule, slightly worn, glass too dark to see cork This has always been a wine to cause comment, seemingly super-extracted and sweet. In 2014, it was all toffee and raisins, with high volatile acidity that makes it seem almost ageless. A conundrum, but a riveting one.
