The sweetness of the year with the 'saltiness' of St. Estèphe. Such extraordinary allure. Will last at least half a century. Last drunk from magnum in 2014. This had such freshness of red fruits all through, with redcurrants to the fore. The 2000s are like this now, youthful and up-front. Then the depth really grows on you, which was absolutely the case with this wine.
