Description

Of crossover design, set with a cushion-cut ruby weighing 3.03 carats, and an old mine-cut diamond weighing approximately 1.75 carats, highlighted with baguette diamonds and calibré-cut rubies, size 7¼.

Condition

In good condition, the mounting with signs of light wear, and evidence of sizing, not noticeable when worn. Mounting tests as platinum. The old mine-cut diamond is approximately I-J color, VS clarity, with a few chips on the girdle, noticeable under 10x magnification. The accenting diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 0.35 carat, are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. The cushion-cut ruby is medium deep very slightly purplish red, slight to minor inclusions. The accenting rubies are medium to medium deep purplish red, slightly included. Accompanied by AGL report no. 1101693 dated June 25, 2019 stating that the ruby is of Thai origin, with no indications of heating.
