Centering an octagonal step-cut sapphire weighing 9.75 carats, framed by round diamonds, size 6¾.

In good condition, the mounting with light surface scratches commensurate with wear, not noticeable when worn. Mounting tests as silver. The sapphire is deep to very deep blue, slightly to moderately included, with a few nicks and abrasions to the crown visible under 10x magnification. The diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 0.95 carat, are approximately G-I color, predominantly VS clarity with a few SI examples.
