The mother-of-pearl dial flanked by the Roman numerals 'IX' and ''III' set with single-cut diamonds, in a polished gold case accented with round diamonds, on a bracelet composed of three rows of gold snake chains, with a round diamond accented clasp, quartz movement, length 7 inches, caseback signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered 142146, with maker's mark and Swiss hallmarks.


In good condition, the mounting with surface scratches commensurate with wear, not noticeable when worn. Swiss assay mark for 18 karat gold, and precious metal mark from the region of Le Noirmont on the case back. The diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 1.60 carats, are approximately G-H color, predominantly VS clarity with a few SI examples. The silvery white mother-of-pearl with soft iridescence. Gross weight approximately 64 dwts. Watch is in running condition at the time of cataloguing but has not been tested for accuracy of time keeping.
