Description

The ring centered on an emerald-cut emerald, within a domed mounting featuring lines of calibré-cut emeralds and pavé-set with round diamonds, accented by bullet-shaped diamonds, size 6, signed Gumbiner; and a pair of earclips of floral design, centering oval-shaped emeralds, the petals set with round and single-cut diamonds, the stems highlighted with baguette diamonds, unsigned. Fitted with posts.

Condition

In good condition, the mountings with scratches to the surface commensurate with wear, not noticeable when worn. Earring mountings test as platinum; ring mounting tests as platinum and 18 karat (white) gold. The emeralds are medium to medium deep green to slightly bluish green, moderately to heavily included with surface-reaching fractures and some abrasions and nicking to the central emerald in ring. The diamonds in the ring, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 2.30 carats, and the diamonds in the earclips, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 3.20 carats, are approximately G-I color, VS clarity with some SI examples. Total gross weight approximately 20 dwts. Ring dimensions approximately ⅝ x 1 inch; earclip dimensions approximately 1⅛ x 1 inch.
