Description
Designed as a spray of flowers, set with cushion-, pear-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds of black, brown, yellow and colourless tints, French assay mark, numbered, later brooch fitting inscribed Cartier, French assay marks and partial maker's mark.
Condition
Brooch stamped with French assay mark for 18 carat gold, numbered 08655. Later brooch fitting inscribed Cartier Paris, partially eroded by solder, pins stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold and partial French maker's mark. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 6.00 - 7.00 carats, mixed colours and clarities. Please note that diamonds of coloured tints have not been tested for natural colour origin. Areas of discoloration to metal, particularly with areas of solder to reverse of flowers and brooch fittings. Brooch fittings in good working order. Overall dimensions of brooch approximately 73 x 35mm, gross weight approximately 20.8 grams. Pouch stamped MW.
