Description

The detachable pendant surmount modelled as a bow suspending two floral sprays, to a central section of navette outline, set with a natural pearl measuring approximately 11.7-12.4 x 13.0mm between open work palmette motifs, set throughout with cushion-shaped and rose diamonds, supporting a detachable fringe of drop-shaped natural pearls measuring approximately 7.5 x 7.5 x 8.6mm - 12.6 x 10.4 x 10.4mm, pendant fitting, two brooch fittings and fringe of drop-shaped pearls detachable.

Condition

Accompanied by report no 17912 from the Gem & Pearl Laboratory, stating that the pearls are natural, saltwater. Detachable bail fitting with French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 14.00- 15.00 carats, estimated colour H-J, mixed clarity grades. Pearls of white to cream body colour, well-matched with good lustre, some with imperfections to nacre surface. Two brooch fittings allow piece to be worn as brooch with and without pearl fringe. Fittings held in place by removable bar at reverse. Discoloration to metal surfaces. Overall dimensions assembled as pendant approximately 110 x 50mm, as brooch approximately 50 x 45mm, gross wieght approximately 45 grams. Overall in good condition.
