Description
Designed as a graduated row of natural pearls measuring from approximately 6.4 - 14.8mm diameter, spaced by seed pearls, to a clasp set with a step-cut emerald between cushion-shaped diamonds, length approximately 415mm, indistinct assay marks.
Condition
Accompanied by GCS report no 79201-98, stating that the pearls measuring approximately 6.4 - 14.8mm diameter are natural, saltwater, with no indications of treatment. Clasp tongue with indistinct assay marks. Pearls of varying shapes, between near-spherical, drop shaped, bouton and oval shapes, with variance in body colours, lustres and orients. Some areas of minor wear and unevenness to nacre surfaces. Some pearls with crazing to nacre, one pearl near clasp with more significant damage to several layers of nacre. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.40 - 0.60 carats, estimated to be SI2-I1 clarity. Emerald with chips. Overall in good condition. Gross weight approximately 45.9 grams.
