The front designed as a pierced oval plaque millegrain-set with circular-cut and rose diamonds, the centre set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing approximately 2.45 carats, to shoulders of foliate scroll design, size O1/2, French import assay marks.

Shank stamped with French import assay marks for 18 carat gold and platinum. Sapphire measuring approximately 8.6 x 7.3 x 4.2mm, calculated to weigh approximately 2.45 carats, deep blue, good saturation, some light wear to facet edges. Circular-cut diamonds approximately 0.30 carats total, estimated colour L-M, estimated clarity I1. Front of ring measuring approximately 44 x 27mm. Gross weight approximately 16 grams.
