NATURAL PEARL, SEED PEARL, RUBY AND ONYX BRACELET, MID 19TH CENTURY

Description

Composed of graduated links set with graduated bouton shaped natural pearls, measuring approximately 5.8 - 8.5mm diameters, within annular surrounds set with polished onyx and cabochon rubies within floral collet settings, spaced by quatrefoil motifs composed of seed pearls and black enamel, length approximately 195mm, French import assay marks. 

Condition

Accompanied by GCS report no. 5776-5089, stating that the bouton shaped pearls measuring between 5.8 - 8.5mm diameter are natural, saltwater, with no indications of treatment. Please note that the seed pearls have not been tested. French import assay mark for 18 carat gold to clasp tongue. Bracelet approximately 20mm at widest point. Rubies with some light chips and surface-reaching inclusions. Seed pearls drilled, some with small chips. Some solder residue to back of settings. Overall in good condition, gross weight approximately 32.9 grams.
