Description

Claw-set with a step-cut emerald stated to weigh 2.65 carats, to a trifurcated band set with square diamonds, size approximately L1/2, signed Ritz, numbered, French assay marks and maker's marks, British hallmarks and sponsor's mark, case stamped Ritz Fine Jewellery.

Condition

Accompanied by Laboratoire François de Gemmologie report no. 158842 dated 19/3/2002, stating that the emerald measuring approximately 8.69 x 7.28 x 5.44mm and weighing 2.65 carats shows indications of minor clarity enhancement with oil. Signed Ritz London, numbered 2.13.2.1, French assay mark for 18 carat gold and partial maker's mark. Emerald stated by vendor to be of Brazilian origin. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 3.00 - 3.50 carats. Gross weight approximately 12.1 grams. In very good condition. Signed Ritz London, numbered 2.13.2.1, French assay mark for 18 carat gold, French maker's mark, British hallmarks for London, 18 carat gold, date letter c for 2002, sponsor's mark RL for Ritz London. Emerald measuring approximately 8.6 x 7.2 x 5.4mm, stated to weigh 2.65 carats. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 4.00 - 5.00 carats, estimated colour approximately H-I, estimated clarity approximately VS. Overall in good condition, total gross weight approximately 12.0 grams.
