Description

Set with graduated oval rubies, framed by brilliant-cut diamonds, to a line of graduated brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 185mm.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 103564, stating that the rubies are of Thai origin, with a minor to moderate amount of residue in fissures. Stamped PT 900 for platinum and OR for gold. Rubies purplish-red, of strong saturation, inclusions visible to the naked eye, with typical surface reaching-inclusions, abrasions to the facet edges, with minor scratches and nicks. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 8.00 - 10.00 carats, on average I-J colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Scratches to the metal consistent with age. Clasp secure. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 30 grams.
