Condition

The sheet appears to be sound, cockles slightly. There is a vertical line along the left edge where the sheet has been extended by the artist. Some surface abrasions near the roof of the Provost's house, which may relate to a repaired tear. Some minor abrasions in the upper right corner. Slightly discoloured, otherwise the work appears in good overall condition. Held under glass in a gilt composite frame; unexamined out of frame.
