The sculpture appears sound. There are a number of small chips, nicks and scratches to the extremities of the sculpture, notably at the base. There is evidence of the Artist's working method on the sculpture in places, in particular in the crevices. There are a couple of seams in the sculpture, notably one towards the base, which are intrinsic to the stone. There is some surface dirt and studio matter visible. This excepting the work appears to be in very good overall condition.
The sculpture is freestanding.
