Condition

The sheet is secured to the mount with two tabs of adhesive tape along the upper edge. The upper and left hand edges have been unevenly torn, and the lower and right hand edges have been unevenly cut. There are two Artist's pinholes in the upper left corner. The sheet is slightly bowed and undulates towards the edges, in keeping with the materials. The sheet is slightly time stained in line with a previous mount, this is not visible in the current presentation. There is scattered pale foxing to the sheet. There are some minor instances of staining to the sheet, and some further instances of studio matter and detritus elsewhere. This excepting the work appears to be in good overall condition. The work is window mounted and held behind glass in a simple wooden frame. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
