Condition
The canvas is lined. There is a faint craquelure pattern visible in the sky. Also a small area of lifting paint and resulting fleck of paint loss in the upper left corner. Under ultraviolet light there is a large area of retouching near the centre of the sky, and a smaller spot to the left of the windmill on the horizon. Further scattered areas of retouching in the sky. Also a few small areas near the centre of the lower edge. Held in a gilt plaster frame.
