Description

  • Haut. 22 cm, long. 37 cm, prof. 24 cm ; height 8 2/3 in., length 14 1/2 in., width 9 1/2 in.
the gilded bronze mounts adorned with vine branches, garlands of flowers and busts of women, the catches with rolling acanthus, the openworked porcelain baskets decorated with flowers, each bearing an apocryphal mark of Sèvres

Condition

The photograph is slightly too dark, especially on the printed catalogue. As visible on the image, the ribbon knot retaining the garland on the right basket is broken and missing. Porcelain and gilt-bronzes in good overall condition otherwise.
