The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.: This work is in very good condition. The canvas has a very soft and light glue lining, which is still nicely supporting the paint layer. The painting is probably clean. Under ultraviolet light, one can see three retouches in her chest, one in her right elbow, two retouches above the bow in the blue ribbon on her head, and one spot in her hair to the right of the head. The work should be hung as is.
