Lined. The work presents well and appears bright and fresh. Barely perceptible, widely patterned craquelure is visible in the sky, and with some finely patterned faint craquelure on the figure's clothing, arms and hands. There are 10 minuscule pin dot losses on and around the figure's face. There is a faint 2 inch horizontal surface scratch in the leaves near the lower left edge and minor frame abrasion in the upper corners, in two places along the lower edge and along right edge (with some remnants of a gold frame). Under UV: varnish fluoresces green. Scattered finely applied dashes and lines of inpainting fluoresce in the sky (some to address prior craquelure), and there are feathery, broadly applied dashes of inpainting surrounding the figure's hair and the tallest branch at right. Inpainting to address prior frame abrasion is visible at center left edge and lower right corner; two dots and some possible old inpainting to address prior craquelure to the purple skirt at lower right.
