Condition

Examined in the frame. Original unlined condition. The colors appear bright and the work presents well, aside from minor surface dirt and dust, isolated areas of stable craquelure, and a diagonal area of abrasion on the right side of the tunic with some associated lifting and tiny losses. Under UV: there are isolated dashes of retouching in the sky; an area of inpainting on her proper right breast; and a few small reinforcements to skirt near lower left corner.
