Examined in the frame. Original unlined condition. The work presents well overall, aside from minor crauqelure to the figure's forehead; slight undulation to the canvas; and minor frame abrasion at upper left. Under UV: thick varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Pigments fluoresce near the corner of the tablecloth, and there is possible strengthening to the decorative details of the clock.
