Condition
Viewed out of the frame. Lined. The surface presents well and appears clean and fresh, aside from some faint isolated craquelure in the sky and scattered minor frame abrasion at the extreme edges. Under UV: there are a few reinforcements and dashes of inpainting to the architecture at left and small boat at right; scattered finely applied restorations in the sky, including a '7' shaped 4 inch area of inpainting at upper left; and broad inpainting around the tallest sail. Some pigments in the water fluoresce.
