Condition
Inscribed on the reverse by an unknown hand: 'Isola Capri/ Strada di inglesi- Punta di tragar' Examined out of the frame. Oil on stable panel. The work presents well, aside from minor scattered frame abrasion; a very few faint areas of discolored varnish in the sky; and a discolored area and diagonal line of retouching in the sky around the kneeling central figure (both visible to the naked eye and under UV). Under UV: no other apparent issues.
