The surface presents well, aside from isolated faint craquelure with some associated lifting at upper center; and minor surface dirt with a few pin point accretions at center. Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Dashes of retouching and inpainting to address prior craquelure are scattered in the sky and are also visible in the water and around the horses, with a vertical line of retouches at center left. There is inpainting scattered near the lower edges.
