Condition

The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. All diamonds are nice and intact. The onyx dial is intact. The watch with minor surface wear visible with the naked eye. The case back with surface wear visible with the naked eye. Furthermore with a minor scuff mark at 4 o'clock. The bracelet with surface wear visible with the naked eye. Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time and may need a service at the buyer's expense. Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement and we do not guarantee the authenticity of any individual component parts since subsequent repairs and restoration work may have resulted in the replacement of original parts. You are advised that watch straps or bands made of materials derived from endangered or otherwise protected species (i.e. alligator or crocodile) are not sold with the watch and we reserve the right to remove these straps or bands prior to shipping. Catalogue Note

The diamond setting on the dial and bezel lends the bracelet watch an iridescent sparkle. The dial is further enhanced with rich black onyx chapter ring, giving the watch a charmingly retro look. The watch is further retained in original condition and is fitted with a heavy 18k white gold Piaget bracelet.
