Catalogue Note

Born in Brussels, Vivian KRal graduated from Ecole NAtionale SupĂ©rieure des Arts visuels from La Cambre. Kral visits places that fascinate her such as abandoned industrial architectures, factories in activity or monuments in restoration. Using improbable perspectives, she creates impossible framings which leads her to an imaginary creation. The buildings are reinvented. Her favorite themes are mainly buildings from the industrial era, deserted and abandoned workshops, always images of a bygone past.
