Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. The canvas is unlined. There is evidence of minor wear and handling to the corners and turning edges. Only visible under raking light and from an extreme angle, there is a minor variation to the sheen of the pigment. A few minor scattered surface accretions and very minor surface soiling are noted, particularly along the perimeter. There is evidence of a few, faint surface scratches. There are a few minor variations to the gold pigment and a small oxidated horizontal area in the second gold circle from left to right. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there are a few minor areas surrounding the gold circular elements that fluoresce darkly but do not appear to be as a result of restoration. Unframed.
