This work is in beautiful condition. The paint layer is clean and stable. The gloss to the work is original. The paint layer has developed some drying cracks, which are primarily visible in the darker colors. These cracks are very fine and do not indicate any instability. Some of these cracks have been carefully reduced with retouching, mainly around the head of the horse and the male figure. The work should be hung as is.
