Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. There is light evidence of wear and handling along the edges. Two faint horizontal stretcher bar impressions are visible running from the right edge to the center of the canvas, only visible under raking light, there is a circular indentation in the right-most dark blue octagon shape, and beneath that, in the dark purple octagon, there is a circular outward protrusion. The colors are bright, fresh and clean. Under very close inspection, a few scattered scuff marks are visible throughout, there is a faint area of hairline craquelure along the bottom edge just right of center, and a few scattered pinpoint white spot accretions visible throughout. Under raking light, a few scattered and unobtrusive faint drip accretions are visible. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, some of the aforementioned scuff marks and faint drip accretions fluoresce brightly but do not appear to be the result of restoration. Framed.
