Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. There is minor evidence of wear and handling to the edges including two areas of minor loss along the left edge in the red and pink bands, and hairline craquelure at the pull margins with a few pinpoint spots of resultant loss. The canvas is buckling slighty on its stretcher. Under close inspection, minor hairline craquelure is visible in the blue band and there are a few pinpoint losses with associated flaking in the orange band near the center of the canvas. Under raking light, unobtrusive spot accretions are visible in the bottom of the white band that is second from the left. The colors are bright, fresh and clean. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Framed.
