This work is in good condition overall. The colors are vibrant, and the media layer is stable. An isolated area of surface accretions is present at the lower center edge surrounding the signature. Under raking light inspection, a few isolated vertical lines of hairline craquelure measuring 1-2 inches in length become apparent at the lower left-center edge of the composition. Two faint circular surface scuffs become apparent at the lower center in the field of sienna-colored pigment. Under ultraviolet light inspection, 4-inch oval areas of fluorescence become apparent in the navy fields at the upper right and left, and in the yellow/orange field at the upper right.
