This work is in very good condition overall. The canvas is unlined and well-stretched. The colors are vibrant, the media layer is stable, and all shell elements are secure and accounted for. Scattered, very faint white pinpoint surface accretions are present throughout. At the extreme upper right edge of the canvas, an area of wear is present measuring two inches in length. In the sewn segment through the center of the work, two threads are loose; however, these threads are stable and secure. Under ultraviolet light inspection, no evidence of inpainting becomes apparent.
