This work is in very good condition overall. The canvas is unlined and well-stretched. The colors are vibrant, and the media layer and all areas of impasto are stable. A ½-inch circular spot of media loss is present in the upper center quadrant, in the black curving line. Five additional pinpoint spots of media loss are present, two in the black lines in the upper right quadrant, one in the black line in the lower center quadrant, one in the extreme upper right corner and one at the extreme center left edge. Under ultraviolet light inspection, fluorescence occurs throughout due to the pigments selected by the artist; no evidence of inpainting becomes apparent.
