Condition
This work is in very good condition. The canvas is well stretched. The paint layer is stable. It is clean and unvarnished. There is a repair on the reverse corresponding to a loss in the blue in the lower center about 2 inches from the bottom edge, which has also received retouches. This is the only restoration. The work should be hung as-is. (This condition report has been provided courtesy of Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.)
