This work is in good condition overall. The canvas is unlined and slightly loosely stretched. The colors are vibrant, and the media layer is stable. Faint surface accretions are present in the following locations: scattered brown drip accretions in the lower left quadrant, an isolated 4-inch line of white drip accretions in the lower right quadrant, a glossy 1-inch circular accretion in the upper left quadrant. Scattered minor spots of pigment loss are present along the extreme lower edge of the canvas, primarily in two concentrated 3-inch areas at the lower center and the lower right. The largest of these spots in the lower left measures 1/4 inch. Four diagonal two-inch scuffs are present at the lower center edge, and one diagonal six-inch scuff at the lower right edge. Under ultraviolet light examination, no evidence of inpainting becomes apparent.
